Reg neck dies are extremely limited, you either need to run the expander ball or have a mandrel system to adj your neck tension after sizing w/o the ball.
For the past 15 yrs I've had a Redding type s neck dies that can either neck size or add tension at any time, even with powered cases. I don't have one for each case, but a 6.5x47 neck bushing die will do SLR, 6 comp match, 243, 260, 6XC etc...
I really don't even measure neck tension with a caliper today, go off felt neck tension when seating a bullet, so for me a reg neck serves no purpose unless I buy one to neck down a caliber size.
