That is the way they built them. This one is on a 1911 receiver as I recall.

I just like the 6.5 round.

I bought it private party in '01 after shooting one at Bisley. Don't recall seeing an importers name. It's completely matching.

Yes very nice. I was bitten by the 6.5X55 first time at the Trafalgar match outside London at Bisley during the Trafalgar Match on the sniper course at Little Siberia and just had to have one. I stared looking as soon as I returned home and must have shopped ten or more rifles till I found this one.

The bullets i use in my Swede come from an old Lyman mold #268645 that i 'run' in a Lyman luber/sizer. They weigh 158 grains with gas check and lube.
