same mag different follower, you can load about 3-5 in a 223-5.56 mag but you might still have feed issues.

It's not the same mag body, the ribs are shallower to make room for the larger dia case.

+1 that is correct - I use the PRI's and have never had an issue with their mags for the 6.8mm.

Go ask the guys on www.68forums.com they will set you straight or call PRI and ask them if they are the same, or measure a 5,56 and a 6.8 with calipers.

They are not the same. Bustin had it right, the ribs are shallower on 6.8 mags.
