6 dasher from 6.5x47 Lapua brass?

If this is possible would the result be quality Lapua brass with the longer norma neck?

Seems you could cut back a 6.5x47 FLS die and use it to set the shoulder back. Then size the neck with a 6 dasher FLS die or even neck bushing die.
Ammo could be loaded longer.

Bad idea, gonna be way too thick at the neck because of the thicker sidewall material on the 6.5x47 case. You'd need to neck turn, and it would still be prone to donuts.

If you want a long neck Dasher either get a Norma chamber with Norma brass or shoot a different/smaller cartridge like BRDX or BRA.

So you will ruin a 6.5-47 FL die and Lapua 6.5-47 brass to find out that it is not the way to go.

All of this. PLEASE PAY PARTICULAR attention to the part about having a chamber that would indeed accept ANY brass with longer necks. There is a special reamer for the Norma Dasher brass that is, I believe, about .020" longer in the neck.
