So the basics :
TL3 action
PVA chamber 0.104 freebore lapua brass.
Varget with 110 smk
1-7.5 twist.
225 rounds since new.
So I did start developing a load with Varget and 110 SMK(cci 450) but I got more questions than answers..
#1 - I get ejector mark fast and basically on every pieces of brass. Nothing crazy extruded but still visible..
#2 - Can't get those 110SMK near 2900 fps but accuracy is good. The node that I've found is at 2840 fps(31 to 31.2 gr)
#3- today I've got carbon rings on the shoulder of my brass( top part) never had that before and chamber/barrel was cleaned the night before.
Even stranger it haven't done it with the 105's RDF.. WTF
#4 accuracy is good with the 110 SMK. RDF plain suck.
Should I be worried about the rings of carbon on the shoulder?
What's the standard with varget in a 26 inch barrel for 110gr SMK?
