Ask for a note with username and date pictured next to the item. Look at the edges closely. Lots of photo shopped pictures sent to me when I’m looking for a scope.

If you and the seller are comfortable with it, live video/"facetime" of the product in question is probably the end-all-be-all of knowing whether or not someone actually has the thing they're trying to sell.

I called Kahles on the scope, they say it's a SKMR retical and the Model # is a 10642.
Not a SKMR-3.
This box says 10643 and the 3 is diffent than the rest of the Mod#.

Ask for a specific elevation or windage dialed in the scope with username.
