Hi all.
With the recent purchase of a 6bra barrel for my prs rifle I just have 1 question about forming the brass. It may seem like a stupid question but before fire forming do I run the standard lapua 6br brass through the sizing die?
Thanks and have a good day!

No need to do that. I run a .241 expander through it to iron out any dents in the necks through shipping, run a lubed bore brush through the neck, and jam .020". There's no need to jam with an Ackley, but I do it to ensure I get a good shoulder blow out and have good ignition.

Try 29.5 grains of Varget and 28.5 grains of H4895.

Go win matches and enjoy.

Djarek, sorry should have been more specific I meant do I run the br brass through a bra die set.
Thanks for the info!

the body dimensions are the same except for shoulder angle change. so while you could, it’s entirely unnecessary. expand necks for uniformity and go
