I have 300 pieces of new Alpha brass and I'm working on prepping it. When I try to chamfer the outside with my RCBS tool, it seems like it just pushes the brass down and creates a lip around the outside of the case neck instead of putting a chamfer on it. I can run my fingernail up the side and it catches on it. With Lapua brass I can really easily chamfer the inside and outside. Any suggestions...is this normal for Alpha brass?
