6mm BR AR10 mags

I have a Fix and I’m curious if the BR would be a viable option.

Try it with some dummy rounds for feeding and empty cases for ejection. If you have a 6 Creed / 6.5 Creed / 308 or similar chamber, the 6BR case will feed into the chamber plenty well enough to test feeding, you'll just have to push the case back out with a cleaning rod. When doing an ejection test with the empty cases just use the cleaning rod to push the empty case against the boltface to engage the extractor, then open the bolt and make sure it doesn't do something like spin the little BR cases 180 degrees and leave them inside the action.

Only other word of warning if you want to try and run 6BR, 6BRA, or 6 Dasher in your Fix is make sure it has a small (0.062"-ish) firing pin... any of the "usual" BR/Dasher loads are high enough pressure they don't play nice with large firing pins. Not sure what the Fix has for a firing pin.

I had the same inquiry. I ran some 6br rounds in a 6 creed rpr. They fed well. I think its feasible and maybe with no modification. I dont know anything on the firing pin size issue. I use the cheap magpul sr 25 mags and have not had any trouble.

I have make some modification for PMAG 10 rounds with my 3D print. It's for AR10 in 6 BR or 6 dasher. It 's work fine, and you must install a metal sheet (0.5mm ) on the top of the front wedge (i'm french so sorry for my bad english)

It doesn't work in a Ruger RPR (simply use the standard Pmag with no modifications on this rifle). It's just for AR10 system.

;)

Nice. I ended up building a 22br on an rpr. The rounds were stripped ok, but every so often one would nose dive and smash into the barrel face. How is the 6br in the semi auto platform?
