I will be taking delivery of a 26" 6mm Creedmoor here shortly and I just bought a 500ct box of the 110gr MatchKings. Could y'all please share your data and results with this combination? How is H1000 working with this combination? I have some H4350 but I would like to put together a load with a powder that's easier to find.
    Thanks in advance.

What's your twist rate on your barrel and free bore?
A lot of info out there shows that a faster than 1:8 is desired. Along the same lines with h1000 are concerns of bullet stability due to decreased velocity. I have not personally tested for accuracy in that info.

Do you have a chrono? I for one would really appreciate you report back with data you collect. If you could fill the case enough with h1000 and get the velocity you need with the 110 SMK that would be a fantastic combo.

I run h4350 and 105gr Hornady BTHP because they are cheap and seem to shoot very well.

My twist is 1:8 but I'm living/shooting at 5500ft. I have a magneto speed crono. I will definitely report my results, hopefully someone will chime in with some starting data.

my smith has a 6 Creed reamer coming he had ground to match the 6.5 Creed Lapua brass without turning necks and freebore for the 110 SMK,,I am gonna use a .236 bore 7.5 twist Brux bbl and I really hope the 110 SMK is for real,,if not he thinks the freebore will be close enough to shoot the 105 Hybirds,,I cant wait to try it,,

I have heard the RL 26 is dense enough to get velocity over h1000 but have not found any local yet. I plan to try H4350 as the constant with RL16, H4831sc, H1000, and RL26 all with the 110smk through a 7.5" barrel.

I've got a couple boxes of the 110's but haven't gotten around to trying them. I mostly use R26 with the 105's at around 45 grains. I'd planned on starting around 43.5 with the 110's. The 6 Creed case holds 47 grains of R26 filled to the neck/shoulder junction.

    Thats great information, thank you!

    Bump for attention

It looks like you just need to load and gather some data and report back.

Tons of data on h4350 and 105-115gr bullets. Start low and work up.

As for h1000 and the 110 SMK. You may not fit enough in the case to run into pressure issues.

Start low, say around 44.0-44.5grs of h1000 and run a ladder/pressure test. If you have a long funnel to drop the powder in it will prove to be beneficial due to proable compressed loads. Assess for the typical pressure signs and stop when you run out of space or observe pressure concerns.

I don't have a lot of data, but I did try some test loads of the 110 SMKs with H4350: 40.7 was right around 3000fps, up to 41.9 for 3095fps. in a 7.7 twist 26" barrel, loaded to mag length (about 2.87") . These are long bullets! I was pleased with the speeds I saw, but the groups were not as good as the 105 hybrids or 115 DTACs in my rifle.

How many rounds down the barrel before you started testing?

Any pressure issues seen at 41.9grs?

Velocity is good but if you have room to increase the charge I think you'll find accuracy to improve once you get them into the 3130 FPS range or faster

I shot over the weekend, I used Prime brass and 41.0 grains of H4350 and had an average speed of 3062 with absolutely zero signs of pressure. Groups were 3/4ish. After sighting in at 100 I took it out to 688 with great results. I then shot 1500 and 1760 yards. Get this the G1 BC I had to put in to get on target at both 1500 and 1760 was .705 velocity of fifteen rounds was check with a magneto speed V3.
Min sure something is a miss but I was on target at both 1500 and 1760 with .705

And with this comment all the 110's go on back order lol

Im not a ballistic app guru so I can't help there. I am patiently waiting to see what velocity your able to push the 110s to with h1000.

I thought you said the 110s didn't group well or did they just come alive down range farther

I said 3/4 moa at 100 with zero load development, it's a new rifle and I really wanted to shoot it so I threw 41.0 grains at it, set the bullets a little off the lands and went to the range. I think these bullets show some promise. I'm going to do some work up's this weekend with H1000, RL-16, and RL-26

This is the post I was referring to and at that time I didn't know about it being 3/4moa. Sounds like it could very well be a winning combination in your rifle and they should help cheat the wind also.

I did some work up with the 110 SMK's and my 243 win last week. Rifle is an AI AXMC with a 26" bartlein tube machined by Robert Gradous. 1-8" twist. I prefer not to hot rod my rifles too much so I did an OCW test from 39.6 gr h4350 to 42 grains in prepped lapua brass, seated .020 off. My OCW node occurred at 41.2 gr which was also the smallest group at .318". I chronoed my foulers (5 rounds) which were loaded with 40.0 gr and gave me 2840 fps with an ES of 13. I'm thinking the 41.2 gr load was close to 2925 give or take which gets me out as far as I want to shoot that rifle. Seating depth test next but so far, so good.

Ok made it to the range this morning. Shot H4350, RL-16, and RL-26.
RL-16 is the super star for velocity, 3212 with 42.0gr. Slight ejector mark. Groups were 1/2 moa at 100.
H4350 was the slowest of the bunch 41.8gr. At 3155fps, accuracy was 1/2 moa as well.
RL-26 is going to be my go too. 45.0gr. Got me an average of 3157 with ten rounds fire and a SD of 11.3fps. One of the rounds dropped 3112 and threw the sd off, it was 5.4 before that. Groups were 1/4 and 1/2 moa.
Rifle is a AIAX, Barrel is a 26" WIN Tactical Bartline 1:8"
So far I am really liking the 110's
