6mm XC II sizing dies

I'm looking for a set of FL bushing sizing dies and micrometer seater (optional...) for a new rifle i'm building with the 6XC II reamer. Will the standard Redding Type S dies work well with this? The case diameter is slightly larger on the XC II if I remember correctly, and I don't want to overwork my brass, or have super sticky dies when resizing.

Pretty much everything in the last forever has been the ii reamer. The normal redding dies you buy will be just fine.

They work fine. The sizing is slightly tougher than a regular sizing die, but not by any reasonable margin. If you want the smoother resizing feeling, I would advise you to move to a 6XC II die.

Overall, the Redding Type S bushing dies in 6XC work just fine.

Email Whitley @ [email protected]. Put ATTN Robert Whitley as the subject. And/or call (215) 348-8789 to get a true 6xcII sizing die.

This is your only option short of getting a custom die made. Their sizing die works great in the 6xcII chamber.

With my 6xc Redding dies I just purchased a few months ago were not xcii spec. Whidden’s are xcii.

I personally emailed Whidden, Carrie said, their die is made to 6xc specs..Not the 6xcII.

I’ll have to dig through my emails but I coulda swore when I emailed them they said they were.

Alot of guys use them for the 6xcII and say they work fine. I had the Tubb die, it sized the base too small for me. The 6xcII Whitley die solved all my concerns. Very happy with the results.

I'm betting it's a custom option from them. Especially since they don't list a xcII option also. Either that or Carrie was mistaken. They definitely should list it though.
