I am looking for a fixed power 6x scope, for a light weight mid-range 6mm...out to 800 reliably as I gather 6mm bullets don't splash much at a distance (Thanks for that research Tribe

)

1" or 30mm

Light weight

6x or 8x

36 or 42 Objective

Mil Reticle....Horus H25 if possible or finer graduations than Standard Mil-Dot

Mil Turret Adjustmemnts

Worth a Shit...not BSA/Barska/ATN crap

To be run in a set of Talley Lightweights

Decent enough turret travel

Ideally it would be the size of the Leupold M8 fixed 6x scope....but I don't think Leupold will change the knobs to Mil.

On a Ruger but shows size.

I belive the SS 10xHD to be too heavy for a featherweight thumbhole stock.

Not sure if the USO St-6 is all that light or compact either......also about tripple the money I want to spend on this scope!!!

Any ideas?

Edit: Does anyone have a picture of the USO #1 Slimline Turret?

Re: 6x Mil/Mil Lightweight Compact?

Joe,
I am looking for almost the exact same scope you are. Only I want very slim capped turrets, illuminated reticle, and the standard mildot. Let me know if you find out anything. Might have to give the st6 a try.

Re: 6x Mil/Mil Lightweight Compact?

I know it's been awhile but I finally got around to asking the custom shop if they would install the M5 .1 Mil Turrets onto the FX3 6x42. The response I got was that it could not be done.

You know what they say?

Wish in one hand...

Try refining your search to include more realistic variables. Or, be willing to spend. PH Light Tactical/hunter comes to mind. As do iron sights.

Good luck.

Re: 6x Mil/Mil Lightweight Compact?

I had a USO ST-6 but I had the moa reticle moa/moa adjustments on my deer hunting rig. SWEET little scope but not very lite. I had the bubble level in mine which would be nice for long shots but I never had to use it.

I know it's been said but SWFA is releasing a mil/mil version of their 6x! I would give their (not released yet) 1-6 a serious look...

I'm going to have to look again but I thought bushell was releasing a variable to 6x elite this year?
