Have a custom 6x284. Shoots lights out 75 vmax at 3700 FPS. Hangs up on the 4th round and won’t chamber, the bolt slides right over the 4th round, using MDT 10 Rnd 308 mag, my question is do I need to adjust the magazine feed lip? Or try a 5 round mag?

If your stock takes m5 bottom metal, get the MDT precision bottom metal with adjustable mag catch. If you shoot a chassis see if you can upgrade to an adjustable mag latch ( MDT and MPA both offer as well as some others).

Sorry stock is a manners EH1. Now there is some slack in the mag. But I overlooked it. It’s not urgent but figured I would get some input before I send it back to the gunsmith so he can adjust it, if i can’t self diagnose it.
