Started building a 6x47 lapua recently. Currently waiting on a barrel, which always seems to be the most painful part. I'm new on this forum and I'm hoping that someone may be able to help me work up some loads. Hope I don't catch too much flak for this, but I'm slapping a Shilen Select Match 1-10" twist barrel on a savage target action.. I know that its not fast enough to throw 105 grainers. I've got sierra 75 gr HPs, berger 80s, and berger 88s for varmint hunting. Does anyone have any experience with these bullets? I have H380, IMR 4350, a good supply of varget, and a good lead on some H4350. I assume Varget or 380 may be a good choice for the 75s and 80s especially. Let me know what you guys think.
