Lee, try starting at 38.5 and working up a little. You may get to 40 but i don't think you will make 42 grains, at least with the current lots of 4350.

I start to get sticky bolt lifts with 40.7 grains and a 105 berger. I have built quite a few of these and i have never been able to get even close to that. I sure would not think your brass would last very long at that load.

I run 41.5gr of H4350 with the 105's... no pressure at all. On all the ones I have built, customers are getting 8-12 loadings. On my personal rifles, after about the 11th loading, the necks need to be annealed, but the primer pockets are still tight.

I was pushing the 115's at 3100 with 41.5 grains. I also have a 3 grove barrel on it and my 6 grove barrel would max out at about 41 grains with the 115's. Either way i switched to the 108 bib bullets and do think im going back.

Hi Lee.
The 6x47 is very close to the 6XC. I am using 39.5gr of H4350 with the 115 DTAC's. Great load in my rifle. No idea of the speed but the last 1000 yrd match I shot I won small group with a 3.923" five shot group with that load. And it was VERY windy that day.

I would start at 38.5 and work your way up. I use .3 steps when working up my loads...this is what works fr me...YMMV.

Take care,Stan
