6XC to 6mm Creedmoor

I have a 6XC chambered barrel for my WTO switch lug rifle. I don't really want to start reloading for another caliber. Does anyone know if a 6mm Creedmoor chamber can be cut over the 6XC without setting the barrel back?

I have gotten very spoiled with factory ammo.

Just re-read your post. It’s very close, but technically yes.

You may be better off just selling it though. That’s just not smart money imo. It’s gonna cost about as much as a whole new chamber job.

Yea it’s just a tad fatter and longer than the xc, shouldn’t be a big deal

Thanks. I saw the dimensions on the two, but I wasn’t sure if it was enough to make it feasible.
