Found this interesting to whiteness it first hand. Target is homemade 4x6x1/2" scrap steel from work, shot with some random old surplus copper washed FMJ at about 30 yrs off hand.
Upper left was an SKS with 20" barrel, lower right was 10.5" Draco. The SKS punched through 1/4" steel (shouldn't have shot it so close) I've been making targets and stands, as soon as I can build a platform, I have room for 100yds on my land, shooting down into a bottom.
