7.65 argentine mauser

I have a 7.65 argentine mauser that I have decided to reload for. I want to use it for hunting therefore I bought a barnes 150gr (.311) bullet for it, winchester brass and winchester large rifle primers. I have searched and have been unable to find loading info for this particular setup. I work during the day and cannot readily contact barnes. I have contacted them before and was strickly told that using other loading data was not safe. I was origonally looking for a bullet of same weight to use loading data on. Since I cannot even find this info on the Barnes website I have no idea what powder to use. I do know that the most common loading data I have found for this is with IMR powder. Does anyone have loading data or info about this particular combo??????????????????????????????

i dont really know much about what your up to but

The 7.65x53mm Argentine cartridge is called by several other names as well:

* 7.65 Mauser;
* 7.65x53 Mauser;
* 7.65 Belgian Mauser.

Don't be too afraid of the Barnes bullets, they are just being overly cautious. Start low and work up, you will be fine. I didn't even know they currently made a 311 bullet. Is it a TSX?

Yes the .311 I bought was a tsx 150gr hollow point flat base. I bought it off of Midway usa. The only problem is the bullet isn't even on Barnes' website.
