A 1-8 twist will work but you don't need to go that fast. A 1-9 is fine and will stabilize the 180's even at .284win. velocities.
You won't see any accuracy difference between them. The faster spin rpm generated by the faster twist though could work against you if you have a bad lot of bullets/thin jackets etc...as it could make the bullets come apart. This is does happen. Not a lot but be aware of it.
Where did you get a 1-8 twist from? Haven't done many of those. If I have your name right we didn't make you any 1-8's just 1-9's. Just curious.

Yes sir your right, you have made many barrels for me and GAP has built some great rifles in 7 mm rm. but I just recently bought my second AIAW and it has an AINA barrel in 1-8 twist twist . It might be one of yours. But this is what the rifle. Came with. I do plan to ask OB1 to turn on in 7 mm rem mag for me in 1-9 , but I would like to shot this one meanwhile.
