7 SAUM shooter here. If I were to do another 7mm, and it wasn't a SAUM, I'd go with the 7mm Blaser Magnum. Look it up, and RWS makes the brass for it.

Even though I have a 7 SAUM for hunting, I'll likely have a 7 PRC built if I can buy a couple cases of Hornady ammo with it. Life is getting shorter by the minute...

Came across some load data for the 7 prc on backfiretv,. I am surprised that h4831sc is looking very promising for 175 and possibly 180’s class bullets. I thought it would be too fast of powder for those weight of bullets but it might be the sweet spot.

If you're looking at a 7-300 Norma Imp build maybe take a look at Defensive Edge 284 Terminator as another option to consider. Shawn always has dies available for his Terminator cartridges and you can even buy formed brass from him as well. They pretty much use Lapua or ADG brass and he doesn't charge that much extra for formed brass. DE always does a great job of providing load data for your specific build as well and makes it one stop shopping.

Arnt the "DE" throats just stepped out a bit, to lower initial start pressure ? Never really understood the point, as they would potentially burn out faster.
