Anybody have a 7PRC out there? With new lapua 6.5 PRC brass this seems like an easy button for the long lost 7 short mag with quality brass with no fireforming or neck turning. 180 berger would make this just about the perfect lightweight hunting rifle cartridge for anything North America in my opinion.

I've heard about this lapua 6.5 PRC brass, but I've never actually seen it in the wild. Seems like all the short mag brass is unobtanium. Every once in a while norma or nosler pops up at insane prices. I haven't even seen hornady brass in over a year and I've been looking regularly. I have 120 pieces on their sixth firing.

The lapua is new release for 2021. Likely won’t see it in the wild until mid/late 2022 given the history of previous lapua brass releases and the crazy demand and popularity of the PRC

Pretty sure they released the first run. Haven't seen anything since. They're going for $500/100 on gunbroker right now. It's nuts.

@vinniedelpino is correct some Lapua brass has made it to market but good luck getting any, gots to be QUICK. McWhorter Rifles already has made guns and has been testing on a 7mm prc variant. It's called the 7sprc, from what I've read it's a pretty amazing little round. Wouldnt mind having one, one day or a 7saum.
