Range Report 7 RSAUM 162 AMAX

Would anyone care to post there drops running the 162. I had a spur of the moment hunting trip come up and I am taking my Saum out to test the 162 Amax. I checked dope @ 300 600 and 800 today and would like to compare with others.


63.5 gr H1000 162 Amax not sure 100% on velocity but guessing 3000fps

Drop @ 300 with 100 zero -2.8 MOA
600 -10.75

Picking up my saum this weekend. Planning on running H1000 and the 162s. How long is your tube Cz550? I've got a 30 incher 1-9 twist.

7 wsm - 3100 fps, 5800ft elev

300 - 3.0
600 - 9.5
800 - 14.75
1000 - 20.75

Just got back from a wyoming mule deer hunt a little over a week ago, and these were my drops up there. Ballistic matched perfectly when I used the g7 bc of .307 and entered the atmospheric conditions from the kestral.

I ran some numbers to match your come ups, and at 1500 ft elev, it looks like you are running more like 2950 fps. I just kinda guessed on the elevation for SE Missouri and didnt know what your sight height is, so it could easily change some.

Wow mine is slow 160accubonds at2777 only a 22" pipe but slow thats with rl 17 57 grns

I love it for a hunting gun it kills black tail dead dead daed
