Gunsmithing 700 action help

I have a rem 700 lomg action with a magnum bolt face.will it work on a 338 lapua build. thanks Hal

With some gunsmithing labor to make the necessary changes it can be forced to work.

Did you ever think about the 338 Edge? It will work with less modification to the action.

I'd second the Edge route.

Lapua Magnums are cool. No doubt. I also think they should be built on actions that are a little more robust.
