700 LA Magnum bottom metal

I picked up a 700 in 375 H&H that I plan to rebarrel. I know the bolt face is .540. Because it was a magnum round is there anything different about the action or is it just a standard long action 700? I have looked at caliber choices and believe I will be going with the 7mm Rem Mag. Any other good options out there?

Can I also purchase any bottom metal for a 700 LA? If I get a DBM bottom metal can I safety use magazines for the 7mm Rem Mag?

Long action is long action for remingtons. The magazine for a 7mm mag will be the same as the 300 win mag. I have had accurate mag bottom metal, badger, and hs precision. The only one i would not get again was the hs. The mags were too expensive. Go with one that uses AI mags and you should be good.
