I have a Rem 700 Target Tactical (26 " triangle barrel) with a V3I 8.5-25x50 LRP and I am trying to decide how to move forward. I would like some feedback from experienced shooters. I have had the rifle for several years (less than 500 rounds through it). I am trying to decide if I should just sell it and begin building a Magpul Pro 700 gun or should I hold on to my current gun and buy the Magpul Pro 700 chassis and drop in my current bolt, chamber, trigger, and barrel in?
(Also, does anyone know if I can put a muzzle brake on the triangle barrel if I decide to keep it?)
Purpose:
Target Shooting 700-1200 yds. Compete 2-3 times a year
