701 backlight problem

i have a garmin 701 and the high backlight does not work , i only get low backlight when high is turned on.
new batteries, tried a reset .i did not do the factory default, was afraid of losing my data and its money rite now.
any ideas?

If you are following the intructions and operating the device correctly, and there is still
an issue contact the supplier. Sounds like it is in NV mode.

You are welcome. The 701 is a powerful device with a lot of features. Takes a while
to get around all it’s functions.
