Gunsmithing $75 tactical bolt knob install

I lowered the price on our tactical bolt knob install to $75. This is in part due to us making everything 100% in house now and also lowering the price on the labor a bit.

Badger knob installations will be $85

Just threading the bolt knob 5/16x24 is $50

Jered, you are starting to piss me off.

Keep lowering prices and I am going to have to come see you in Jefferson. NOW if only you needed someone whith mechanical knowledge but not real skill set to help out around the shop maybe we could do a little horse trading of services.

I don't need anything now but I'm always on the look out for 700's etc so you never know.

Damn I was hoping you might need a flunky to just help out around the shop from time to time that would work for services rendered.

jered, thanks for passing on the savings, i talked to bill this week and have one ordered up in od green.

i have tried the badger and others but keep coming back to the patriot bolt knob, its my personal favorite, even better now that is less $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

What length of time do you require, my bolt is stainless any problems?

Zero problems with stainless. It's out the same week it comes in. Normally 2 days tops.

$75 doesn't include shipping but does include the knob.

George is probably the best one to send the FN bolt to. I can run it on the CNC but it's tied up running parts and it won't be available soon.

can you do a CZ bolt? Not sure if the bolt has to be bent or not.

The bolt doesn't have to be sent for that but Chris @ long shot rifles is who you need to call on that one.

Thanks Jared..prolley will be sending you a bolt here in the next week or so for a badger install. How much total? 75 for the install and knob..but what do I need to send for return shipping?

This the best piece of customer/public relations I've seen in a long time...

Personally, I have no problems whatever with my factory rifle bolt knobs, but if I wanted one, I know where I'd be going. Bolt knobs are just fairly well down on my list of priorities.

Curious are your knobs steel or aluminum? I thought I had seen one on your site that it said was steel...

Edited, Never mind I answered my question by reading further. It's your Surgeon replacement handles that are steel correct?

May I ask what you finish them with?
