Has anyone used an AAC 762SD on a 30-06?
AAC is not always the easiest to get ahold of...

Email them. I did last week and got a response back within the day. They told me my sdn 6 would work for 300 weathrby as long as barrel was at least 24.

I talked with Mike a year ago about my 762sd and was given the OK on a 280ai with. 24" barrel and a 300rcm with a 22" barrel. Hope that helps some.

I asked AAC about this before buying; they said no sweat using the 762SD can on 30-06 bolt rifle. So I purchased one and have been using it on a U.S. M14E2 H&R automatic rifle & a 24" Krieger 30-06 for several years. It must be pretty tough as it is rated for auto fire use.
13 rounds per second on auto: works good; lasts long time.

They gave me the ok as well via email. Their reasoning was although the 762 is designed around the 308, the fps in a '06 round isn't too much greater and would not affect nor hurt the can.
