7mm-08 long action question.

Hello guys i have found a very nice full custom 7mm-08 that is built with a stiller predator long action. The gun also has a manners T4A stock that is DBM. My question is can i get a BDL style stock Mcmillian and not worry about feeding issues? The guy said he wanted the long action so he could shot the heavier bullets without having to worry about running out of magazine length.

I do not care for the DBM stocks as this will be a hunting rifle and do not want to run into any feeding issues. I would normaly pass on the rifle but price is hard to pass up..Thanks guys

If you don't want feeding issues why not keep the DBM? There are a lot of choices for loading 7mm08 that you might miss out on.

Look up Khavic. He is running a LA 7-08 and likes it fine. Has some posts at the Depot under 7mm loads.
I like the BDL when not shooting on the clock.

I have not had any issues with running a short action cartridge thru a long action rifle. I use a savage 110 long action for all my switch barrel hunting stuff. 22-250 ackley / 243 / 30-06 ackley / 308 - I got all the barrels and just swap them and no feeding issues.
