7mm Rem Mag, jump or jam?

i started load development on my 7mm Rem Mag and i was wondering if anyone can tell me if this cartridge likes to jump into the bore or does it typically like to be jammed into the rifling like my .308 win.

Depends on how the variables line up. Different bullets behave differently as do different rifles. Only way to tell is to load up and shoot bullets seated at different depths.

I shoot 162 AMAX through mine at .020 jump.
