7mm SAUM Brass

I was all set to add a 7saum barrel to my DTA collection, but I've hit a dead end with the brass. I have been searching the web and local gun shops and everyone is out.... Anyone have any leads on where I can get my hands on some?

Might have to start rethinking the caliber for the new 7mm barrel....

You're SOL if you want $0.65/piece Remington brass...

Nosler is readily available at Powder Valley and many others...

What about using Rem 300 SAUM brass till 7 saum brass is available. I understand the brass is a little shorter.

I have this thing about neck turning; guess I need to get over it unless I want to pay $2 per piece for brass.

I contacted Midway and they informed me they <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline">MIGHT</span></span> be getting a shipment in December....

This cartridge is enticing, except for the brass problem.

I'll do a 7/300WSM instead.

Does anyone know if the 7/300wsm will feed reliably in the DTA? If it does it might solve the saum brass and feeding issues...

Mine finally came in after a 4 month back order from midway.

Ive have been necking down 300 saum brass since its about half the cost of the 7mm saum brass.

Are you having to turn the necks after you down size the 300saum necks?

It has been working great

I dont even own a neck turner. I measured a few and its about .001 thicker off the few pieces of 7mm saum brass that I have(loaded).
