Does anybody have any loads for a 7x57R for 140 grain bullets? They will be used in German drilling’s and BBF’s. I would like to be able to use a US powder if possible.

I havent worked up a load with that light of a bullet yet, but I would use a powder with a good case fill like 4064 although varget worked for me too. 4064 is the largest grain and about the slowest powder I keep on hand.

Drilling is a double barrel shotgun with a rifle barrel between the 2 shotgun barrels ( on the bottom of the shotgun barrels)
BBF is a single shot shotgun over a single shot rifle barrel.
They are break open hunting guns from Germany. The case is the rimmed version of the 7-57.

I wish I had a BBF for coyote hunting my lazy butt always seem to leave the shotgun at home when I need it the most.
although 4064 has been great in my k98 I would stick with the slower powders you have on hand. Hodgdon has some data available online.
