I just cleaned two of my most fired rifles .The 308 I used 4064 and the 6.5 I always used 8208 .The 6.5 was so clean I couldn't believe it .Both are Bartlien barrels and neither had any blue when using sweets but the 4064 was pretty dirty from the powder .
