93r17 glass

Got a 93r17 on its way. Going to use it for small varmints and a little target practice. Im having a hard time deciding on glass. I'm looking at the falcon menace 4-14 not sure if the scope is to large in size for the riffle? Or maybe a viper pst or ss 3-9. I have a friend that has a leupold vx-3 that has nice features. What would you use?

I think any of the optics you mentioned would be great for that rifle. If you're hunting more than target shooting a variable might be nice. I just went from a variable to a fixed power, 20x SS, on my Savage Mark II TRR-SR. Probably too much magnification for a hunting rig but it's performing at 100+ so I wanted the magnification. 10x would also work nicely. I've had Leupold VX-3s on many rifles and they are great scopes.
