It has the potential to be a monumentally stupid question, but I noticed that my YHM 7.62SD has a .40" bore and would allow a .355 bullet to pass through it with .0225 clearance on all sides under ideal conditions. Has anyone tried this?
Seems like the length of this suppressor would contribute to the increased likelihood of a baffle strike. My first instinct is that it might work , but is a bad idea.

EMAIL YHM at that address and ask them, or try it yourself and let me know how it worked If I hear nothing back I would say it didn't work well

i would guess that the excess clearance is just to give more leway from baffle strikes. adding a bigger projectile just increases the chances of baffle strikes. along with the long length and weight vs a 9mm can. i would use caution. and when you do get a baffle strike will they warranty it shooting 9mm through it. i would call them and ask, and if it would be covered. let it rip.

Agree!! I was sad, mad, a bit shocked, and stunned when I saw my old .308 can traveling down range. That was even before the Gemtax kicked in, if it happened now I think I'd cry.
