I'm reloading 9mm 115gr fmj rn. I use 5.2 gr of 231 win. Mixed brass. Some manuals show this high and some low. What do other reloaders load? Thanks ram boy

5.1 should be on the max side of that bullet weight and powder

Pay close atention to the OAL of the round. I loaded a few really long trying to copy winchester white box. Had incomplete burn and lots of powder residue poping out of the action. Luckily I never stuck a bullet in the barrel. Shortened them up and now they shoot great.

Any time you start load development you should definitely work up to what you will ultimately use. Never ever start on the high end. If it's in question then back off and work up.
