This a good friend.. she is an artist a sculpture She lives in France and she is a remarkable person. She posted this story and I asked her about it. If she made it up or if it was real she confirmed that it really did happen. she is one of the few people in this world that I actually trust. I just thought I would shared it.
Human story. Today at the hardware store : I needed stuff and so my dad did.. anyway. Almost done and walking toward the exit to pay, I hear the cashiers talking " Look Frankenstein is back!", "Shhh! he's gonna hear you! that guy freezes my blood! am sure he's been to jail", "sure he looks like he could have killed people!", "Oh shut up! I hate when he comes! he scares me".. I look and I see a giant guy, husky as hell and with a very grumpy face. And I notice the scar... An enormous scar starting from his left ear, going by his cheek and jaw, till his neck and disappearing in his shirt. Scars/Nefer Kane/ Shameless. I walked toward him, I looked at him for a few seconds, he frowned at me, then I asked " It's a burn right? But you had surgery to repair partially the skin?". He frowned more and said " yes... I don't wanna talk about it ok?". I answered : " Too bad."; He asked : " How do you know how I got it? why too bad?"; Me : " Am a sculptor. I have a passion for scars.; Him :" Why you said too bad?"; Me : " cause it's magnificent." He smiled and asked : " My scar you mean?", I smiled widely " Yeah! Your scar is magnificent!"; Him : " I was a firefighter and got caught by fire on a hill. I am very embarrassed with it. I need to hear that for 15 years.". I said " nobody ever said it was easy to be a hero.."; he looked at me smiling and asked : " how can you know about surgery and stuff?"; I said : " cause I've been often hurt myself. But inside.". He put his hand on my shoulder and said : " Anyone hurting you doesn't understand magic and doesn't deserve yours." I paid, he lifted his hand and I gave him a high five : " See you around Firefly!", " See you around Hercules!" When I walked away, I heard the cashiers telling him " omg, your story is incredible!! omg, what a courage you had!", so I turned around and said loudly pointing him with my finger " MAGNIFICENT! I TOLD YOU!" He laughed and winked. Then my dad arrived " I got lost in the alleys! what's going on? Who's that guy?". Me : " Nothing. A friend. Oh can I have a puppy?"; Him : " NO WAY! your mother would skin me alive!" LOL ( I had to give it try LOL)
