can anyone tell me a good set of punches for a decent price and a solid inch pounds torque wrench. i looked on ebay and tried some searches to no avail any help would be great. thanks in advance

Lyman has a decent set of punches, prolly available from Midway USA. Starrett has nice looking punches for a premium price but they tend to not stay pretty with hard use. I have a set of both and for the money I think the Lyman set is a good deal.
Inch lbs torque wrench...Seekonk(sp) is popular around here, I don't own any, they are pre set for a specific torque. Try Harbour frieght for a cheap one or Sears for a Craftsman. I was given a pretty expensive one by a tool rep, the same kind as sold by Sinclair that is adjustable. It reads in Nm so I have to do a conversion but it works good.

i havent really neeed any punches, but i use the crap out of my wheeler torque wrench. i think i paid $50 or $60 for it at cabellas.

Take a look at MSCdirect.com. You should be able to find both the punches and torque wrench. WW Granger is another good source.
I've got a set of SK roll pin punches that are very nice.
