Using the vise makes cleaning great. Holding the barreled action by the barrel forward of the forearm is a great to secure the gun when bedding the action.

Pipe vices are hot too, the jaws can be pivoted 360 degrees so you can...well you get the idea.

That was my reaction too.
Then I see he has started a forum.

I wish I had that kind of energy.
If I could get my bench cleaned off, I could go fishing.

That's awesome man. I can only wish my bench looked like that.

So it's cool to just clamp down on the barrel? How do you protect the finish?
