Around here, lots of kids live a ways from the highway, and school bus stop, so at an early age they drive on the private ranch roads to the highway.

One young lady was told by her brothers if she sees a rattler, to throw something at it until it curls up making a bigger target.

So this young lady is on her way to school when she sees a rattler warming itself on the road. She starts throwing crap and sure enough it curls up. We ask her if she killed the snake, she says "nope" but she shot the shit out of her history book.
