Why does it seem that there are a lot of Kahle 624i's for sale recently? Is there supposed to be another version coming out and people are jumping the sale or just prefer different glass or what?

You’ll see a lot of Gen 2 RZRs, S&Bs, and most other high end scopes up for sale a lot and usually from the same people ha. I am never content with my optics for some reason and I like to see what else is out there. High end glass changes hands a lot. It’s not as big of a thing as it appears. There are some sick deals on Khales right now, saw one go for 2,000 in the PX and others listed for 2250. Now is the time to buy if you’re looking as I have a gen 3 and they are great. I am considering trading an S&B 3-20 for another Khales or any 24-25 power comparable optic for that matter. See, it never stops.........

I had that same sort of concern lol. I wouldn't be surprised if folks go the left side windage and realized that YES it makes great sense...if either you don't dial wind at all or all your scopes are left windage.

If I had a need for another optic, I would snatch up another Kahles in a heart beat. I would miss that SKMR1 every time I would go shoot with my ATACR. lol But now a S&B replaced the ATACR... Scope ADD sucks.

Hmm interesting. So you dont get a piece of glass and go wow, I just cant loose this? You kind of shuffle them around and try them all?

Yup, I just started dealing with an old buddy to trade my S&B for another Khales. I love the SKMR reticles, something I wouldn’t know unless I traded an ATACR for my first khales. I know now I don’t like the thickness of the H2CMR reticle. Little things seem to make enough difference to try new stuff. They all cost about the same and can be traded straight across. So there’s no down side, find what you like....

MR. Haney.JPG I only own one 624i and one 5 x 20 Ultra short. Kahles works for me during those last few moments where day light turns into darkness. Strap on the PVS-30. Love them both but for hunting Kahles works for me.

Hmm yep, seems like it makes since. Worked for you. Makes me feel better about purchasing a used Kahles that something isnt just wrong with them.

I just started getting into LR and im already a total scope whore. Started with a Vortex Gen 2 and sold it. Now I'm looking at the SB 5-25. I think it's just a matter of guys wanting to try everything out, not that theres anything wrong with the scopes themselves. I see multiple Vortexes, SB, Khales, etc up for sale on the EE all the time.

Just people chasing a rainbow buying the latest and greatest, to live out their fantasy. Nothing wrong with it, if you don't mind losing money. A friend of mine does the same thing with high end cameras every year, and my father did it with cars.

I purchased a used 624 with some hesitation. Expensive purchase and didn’t want to buy a damaged scope or one with a problem. Fast forward: No problems or worries, just saved $500. Original owner just playing with different scopes. Good luck.
