A Word From Mike Miller:

US Army Contract#USZA92-02-M-0008

The Quick Cuff is the result of twenty years NRA High Power, Hunting and
Sniper Experience. It is what I believe to be the best all around rifle
sling ever made. A trained shooter can switch from standing to a seated or
a prone slung shooting position in less than ten seconds.

The sling consists of two parts:
1. The sling. Install on the rifle with the short portion forward and
the multi loop section to the rear. The Male Fastex buckle should face away
from the stock and pointed toward the buttstock.
2. The Cuff. This is worn on the weak side arm, with the female
Fastex Buckle on the inside of the arm, above the bicep area. The Velcro
cover can be used to secure the buckle when wearing a pack or similar
items. Many shooters will tack sew the cuff to their shooting coat or
ghillie suit. The Velcro cuff attachment system should not be so tight as
to slow or stop blood flow to the arm.

Using the sling is simple:
1. Adjust the length of the front section for whatever position you
like, before using the sling in the field. Many use the seated length
because they can use it in a rapid prone position without any adjustment.
2. The multi loop section of the rear, designed for carry over a pack
or similar gear. Adjust this to your needs.

The sling is made out of nylon that is many times stronger than the swivel
studs in the rifle so keep that in mind when handling the rifle by the
sling. You would break the swivels or the swivel studs long before you
would damage the sling.

Made in the USA, by my hands, using the best materials found.

God Bless you. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

Tactical Considerations:

The Quick Cuff Precision Rifle Sling is made by active duty law enforcement professionals. (See the About Us section for more details.) Though it is a very good choice for civilian marksmen, it was originally designed with tactical features in mind.

Here are a few of the tactical features:

The sling is designed to resist tangle in any mode, carry or shooting.
The armcuff portion of the sling can be sewn to your ghille suit or shooting jacket for instant hook up or the cuff may be worn as a separate item.
The Quick Cuff Precision Rifle Sling can be painted to match your environment.
The sling is designed for quiet operation and deployment.
The Sling is quickly adjustable for length and carry options.
The Quick Cuff Precision Rifle Sling can be used as a traditional sling, as a hasty sling, or as a cuff sling.

Re: A question to save me

I don't think the M24 came with the TIS: it wasn't around then.

Re: A question to save me

Or perhaps Sling, Small Arms NSN 1005-00-714-1245...this is for the Leather M1907 sling. Now you can call it the Sling, Small Arms and recite the NSN or call it the M1907 sling but either way you'll probably get smoked...just accept it.

Re: A question to save me

I don't remember the deployment kit for the Army M24 ever coming with a sling. Maybe it's a trick question?

Never mind, it was the the M1907 military sling.

Re: A question to save me

From TIS:

"TIS started supplying SOTIC with M24/Quick Cuffs in 1999. Since that time many units have added them to existing M24s. The current M24 issue sling is the leather M1907."

The contract cited is a SFG pruchase to replace the issue M-24 leather slings.

The Army does issue M110s with the Quick Cuffs as do many Navy and USMC Systems.
