I've seen a few banana peels, but not in person--yet.
When I'm at a busy range I make it a point to see what the guys next to me are doing with their rifles.
I've pulled a bore laser out of one rifle and got another rifle's muzzle clear of the owner's shooting rest before they pulled the trigger. Murphy's law at its finest.

Rigged internet picture. They bent it to that extreme.
