A Surprising Poll

Id say that poll is BS unless the only ones polled were senior Obama appointed Generals.

What concerns me is the stories stating Trump will win by a landslide on election night results but mail in voting will reverse that trajectory.

Nothing to be suspect about there.

So if a poll can be run on like 1200 people and its results would be statistically relevant for a country of 350M, than why wont it be suspicious if in person voting, assumed to be a number of people greater than 1200, leads to a Trump landslide yet mail in voting is so wildly different that it reverses the result?

Is every Communist going to mail in a ballot and only Americans will in person vote?

That may actually be the case but not all those ballots are going to be real people either.

If this poll is remotely accurate the countries in worse shape than I thought, it might be just my own bias and experience but I don’t see how it can be a real poll.

Just my AM thoughts...shaped after 28+ yrs in the AF.

- Yes, this poll had an avg age of 39....but it also used Military Times subscribers...thats unique subset. Most of us view the Military times (aka the AF Times, Army Times, etc) as the equivalent of the National Enquirer. We might read a copy laying around, but probably not subscribe. It is NOT a DoD publication.
- Do not under estimate the number of D's in the military. I was shocked how many members (and spouses) voted for Bill Clinton in the day. Our local congresswoman (Lauria) is a retired Navy 0-6.
- While its easy to say officers and SNCOS are political as hell (and not totally untrue)...just remember, a vast majority of the military is under 25. It's amazing that based on the brainwashing they get via social media how many Active Duty do not like Trump. It used to be a big deal to bad mouth the Commander in Chief (still in the UCMJ) even on social media....now it's freedom of speech.

BL: The military is a slice of society and despite a uniform, the voting is pretty similar. Sadly, for many is a job, not an honor and calling. It's just something they do, not what they are. So their commitment to the country, the president and what's best for America does not run as deep. (Note, I said many, not all).

So despite my lake of faith in the military times, and probable bias from a Syracuse University poll, its probably fairly accurate.

i believe the dems will fill out thousands if not hundreds of thousands of fraudulent mail-in trump votes (in addition to the fraudulent mail-in ones for their candidates). if it becomes abundantly clear on election day they are losing despite their cheating they will toss the fraudlent trump votes in the mail and be sure that they find them in the aftermath and use them as an argument that trump fraudulently won. doesnt matter who wins in november. the communists wont let up

Add Leatherneck to that circle of propaganda (not for the good reasons) military publications.

Remember all General officers and are congressional approval. I don’t believe the poll. I’d make assumptions about the units polled but I don’t want to be racist.
