A/W magazine with Stiller Tac 30

So I got a pair of AI AW mags (part # 0726) and I can't get them to seat in my Stiller Tac 30 that is in my MPA chassis. They go in the magwell but bottom out before locking in. I'm pretty sure I got the correct mags. I thought the Tac 30 was cut to accept these mags... Any Ideas?

There's two variants, Tac 30 and Tac 30 AW. Does yours have AW written on the side?

Thanks for that, no it doesn't. Can it be cut to allow fitment?

Yes, they can be modified to accept AW magazines. I had GA Precision convert mine when I had them build up my Tac 30. I bought it from the first batch many years ago, before Stiller made and marked the actions Tac 30 AW. I do not know what it cost me, it was all in as part of my build.

Might be worth buying another action. I think the modification costs around $200.

While I love AW mags. People seem quite happy with the ARC mags, which will work in your action.

I think this will end up being taken care of by the builder, and not on my dime. The build sheet called for an AW lefty action, but I didn't get one.

I like the AW mags because my right arm and hand have very little strength and almost no dexterity to load single feed magazines. I can load them, but its such a PITA for me that at the range I just single feed. I'll load up for matches though. So the AW mags help me out a lot.
