Anyone here us the A419 locking ARCA rail and clamp setup? How do you like it? Wondering how solid the lockup is compared to say a RRS Soar type clamp on a standard ARCA rail.
I currently run their arca lock rails on my MPA’s and use the bipod clamps. I have been very happy with them. The thumbwheels lock up tight and there is no movement whatsoever along the rail. The locking pins are a nice improvement over a traditional arca rail.
I've got two Arcalock installed on my rifles; amazing peice of kit. Works exactly like they say.
It locks firmly into place and is nearly impossible to when in locked position. There is a small learning curve to getting a feel for the notches and repositioning the bipod or other item.
I only wish they had a small lever on part of the knob to make it even faster to lock/unlock into place and to act as an indicator for whether rail is fully locked down. This isn't a complaint but more of a wish list. It's very fast to adjust and run.
