kinda a bitch to get the right angle!

when you look down the suppressor the holes are not perfectly round, almost a hexagonal shape, with that strange spot all the way down.

If your baffles look like the pictured ones, it is normal. Half of the tip of each cone is cut off, which creates an angled region for gas flow and shifts more propellant gas out of the boreline. KAC uses a similar arrangement on some of their baffles.

No offense to anybody here, but I thought this was common suppressor knowledge by now. I think every can I have (3-4 different manufactures) has those gas cuts in them. Even my tac-65 .22 can. I guess thats what I get for assuming it's "common knowledge".

My new, unfired M4-2000 has some similar baffle marks.

I sent back another M4-2000 for other issues that also had those baffle marks. I always thought they were baffle strikes until I got my new one.

My 7.62 SD and my Titan do not show those jagged edges.

    ..

Look, this looks like a very early stack.

It also looks like a baffle strike to me.

If this is how these are being made, I would be surprised. First off no one would want a tool that cut the holes that roughly and, if by chance that is the design, one would not set them in a row because of the cumulative effects of the gas flow.

I'm going with a hard strike.

The Cyclone does not have these cuts, because it is intended for a precision rifle, and the angled gas flow through those cuts can cause your groups to open up a bit.
