Suppressors AAC damn the man sale... or rebate?

I bought a suppressor in that timeframe and never cashed in... didn’t realize there was a time limit. I was under the impression that my receipt would be good to use whenever I was ready to get whatever I wanted from them. Tried to get some flash suppressors and they told me the deal is expired and I’m out of luck... they told me it was a rebate and I never applied for it.

Just wanted to bitch. If I knew that it was a rebate and had a timeframe I would have applied for it so I think it’s obvious it wasn’t made clear enough. The can I bought from them isn’t even that good. I use aac cans at work all the time and wish they were silencerco or something else ESPECIALLY the garbage ass suppressor that comes on the 5.56 scar. The only good can they have that the military issues in my opinion in their can for the bolt guns...

Oh well sucks to suck, thanks for nothing aac... I paid Msrp for the can too.

It was actually a Promo and was spelled out plain as day in what was required to get it...

You know what's worse than that OP? Buying an $800 can only to have a promo come out exactly 4 days later stating that if you buy said can, you get a free .22 can, BUT you don't qualify because you bought your can 4 days earlier than the specified promo date.

This happened to me TWICE. Both from siCo when I bought my Octane they had a deal for a .22 can a short time later. Then about a year later my Omega again get a .22 can or another Octane.

I was like wtf man both time.

Disagree about it being worse. I bought the aac can specifically because of the sale. Never redeemed it because I went on an extended business trip and left it on the back burner. Sucks for both of us though

Couldn't get anything for the certificates for almost a year of trying, everything out of stock all the time. Finally got a couple G2S triggers and some t-shirts/stickers. Finally wound up buying the pistol can adapter pistons from a dealer a couple years later, that was the last straw for AAC for me.

The point is you had the opportunity for the promotion. I don't even get that because I was 4 days early on a purchase, but you are right. It does suck for both of us. I should have said equally as bad.

Yeah it sucks. The aac customer support guy is a fucking douche. The military made a huge mistake purchasing any of their garbage 18t suppresssors.

AAC was actually a good company until Freedom Group bought them... The m42k still is one of the better performers on the mk18 guns. Latch issues were from folks spinning on and off their cans continuously. They will address that instantly if you have an issue. Their cust support was great back in the day. The m42k is one of the (10) 5.56 suppressors I own, and is the only AAC out of that list. Still does very well against anything new thats out. Surefire, KAC, stand out more in my book, when your talking about a good one piece can without parts and pieces and all that garbage some companies offer these days. For what you can buy a M42k or Mini4 these days with a mount, around 500 or even less, I would still put those up on the list over anything modular that's out these days for the price.
