Suppressors AAC Tirant 3 Lug Adapter

Just thought I'd post this up in case anybody is looking...

I got tired of constantly having to tighten and check my direct thread on Tirant 9 can on my 9mm SBR. Really hampers your shooting when you're thinking about baffle strikes every time you squeeze the trigger. General consensus seemed to point to a 3 lug mount/barrel. I talked to AAC. They have a Tirant 3 lug adapter on the road map, but could give no ETA. Did a little research and found that they have been talking about that adapter for some time (several years). Opted not to wait. Found one currently being manufactured.

It was $285.00 shipped. Initial impressions are that it looks like a quality made adapter. Fit and finish are great. I'm waiting on a 3 lug barrel from TROS so I haven't had a chance to test it out. I"ll report back once I have everything running.

Initial tests are very positive. 3 lug is so much more secure than a direct thread on on an SBR. This particular adapter for the Tirant looks to be doing exactly what it was designed to do. I'll post up more after I really get a chance to test/put a ton of rounds through it.
