The following is just informational and thought people would be interested in the subject. I am not affiliated with any company in the industry.
Recently, I compared two AAC Titan Ti-threaded suppressors. One is threaded 5/8 x 24 and the other is M18 x 1.5.
What is unique for the M18 x 1.5 is that AAC incorporated a countersink into the rear of the suppressor. Most suppressors threaded M18 x 1.5 do not have a countersink, and are just flush at the end. Since the thread pitch, M18 x 1.5 is mainly for (AI) Accuracy International barrel(s), their specifications have the front portion of their barrels tapered straight to accommodate AI brakes and other accessories.
While threading this suppressor on an AI barrel, the barrel will fit into the countersink and shoulders up very nicely to the suppressor.
I believe it is interesting AAC did this. I know some other third party manufacturers for AI accessories incorporate this into their designs, but some do not.

Obviously, many people utilize other rifles with other thread pitches, and therefore use an adapter. Since all thread adapters are not created equal, a friend of mine recently asked TROS USA, Mr. Mark McWillis, into making an adapter for it.
On the left is a normal 5/8 x 24 into M18 x 1.5, while on the right is a newly made 5/8 x 24 into M18 x 1.5 adapter with a simulated AI barrel incorporated into the adapter. It is awesome…it threads into the suppressor and fits into the countersink perfectly.
